Dry Suit Diver Course

Our PADI Dry Suit Diver Course provides intensive instruction in dry suit diving and prepares you for dry suit dives at locations such as Silfra. The course is taught in one day and includes a theory and pool session, followed by two open water dives at a local dive site. After successfully completing of the course, you will be a certified dry suit diver and therewith qualified to dive in Silfra!Please note that this is a physically demanding course and includes multiple dives in Iceland's cold water conditions.

Participants must:
be a certified diver at the level of PADI Open Water or equivalent
be at minimum 150cm / maximum 200cm
be at minimum 45kg / maximum 120kg
be at least 18 years of age (signature of legal guardian required for under 18 year old participants)
be physically fit
be able to communicate in English
be ready to wear a sometimes tight & constricting dry suit
not be pregnant

During the summer months, Iceland has nearly 24 hours of daylight, which allows us to operate the fantastic Midnight Sun whale watching the tour. There's something extra-special about seeing whales in the evening, surrounded by the glow from an evening sun reflecting off the waters of Faxaflói Bay. You set sail at 9:00 pm and head back just before midnight, giving you plenty of time to search for whales with one of our expert guides. The most common species we see on our tours are humpback whales, minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbor porpoises.
