Diving Silfra Tour with Pick Up

Experience Silfra's pristine, crystal clear water while you dive between the Eurasian and American continental plates. Upon arrival at Thingvellir National Park, your guide will introduce you to the unique geological and cultural history of Silfra before giving you a detailed briefing of the dive site. You guide will then assist you into your dry suit and setting up the dive equipment. We will explore the four main parts of Silfra, the big crack, Silfra hall, Silfra Cathedral and the Silfra Lagoon. After the dive we will warm up with hot chocolate and cookies.

be a certified diver at the level of PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
have dry suit diving certification and a logged dry suit dive within two years of the Silfra tour date OR have at least 10 logged dry suit dives within two years of the Silfra tour date and be able to provide written proof from a diving instructor [https://www.dive.is/content/forms-documents/instructor-confirmation-of-dry-suit-diving-experience.pdf] of these dry suit dives
have read, signed, and followed directions on the Diving Silfra Medical Statement [https://www.dive.is/content/forms-documents/2024_medical_diving_silfra.pdf]
have our Diving Medical Statement [https://www.dive.is/content/forms-documents/2024_medical_diving_silfra.pdf] signed off by a doctor if they are age 60 or older

be between 150cm and 200cm in height
be between 45kg and 120kg in weight
fit within our dry suit size chart [https://www.dive.is/content/forms-documents/size-chart.pdf]
be at least 17 years of age (signature of legal guardian required for under 18 year old participants)
be physically fit
be ready to wear a sometimes tight and constricting dry suit
be able to communicate in English
not be pregnant

Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights Small Group Tour with Admission

The small group Golden Circle tour and a Blue Lagoon bathing experience are the ultimate treat ending the day with a Northern Lights hunt! The tour is operated on minibusses led by one of our experienced driver guides. You will have the comfort of travelling in a comfortable vehicle in small group and enjoy the highlights of the area now known as the Golden Circle. You will explore Thingvellir National Park, a historic and geological landmark and a UNESCO heritage site. The park is not only known for being the place of the first parliament ever established and still active but it's also the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic Divergent Ridge. The Geysir Area comes up next with it's geothermal wonders. Feel the power from the heat in the ground, breathe the sulphuric steam from the hot water and see the spectacular eruptions performed by geysir called Strokkur, which erupts every 5 to 10 minutes. Next, we are on to Gullfoss waterfall. It's considered to be the most beautiful of Iceland’s 30,000 waterfalls. Then, travel to Kerið crater, a striking crater lake filled with milky blue-green water and surrounded by stark black and deep red slopes.At the Blue Lagoon, you'll enjoy bathing in the relaxing geothermal waters before heading back to Reykjavík. After a brief break in Reykjavík, you will be picked up again for a Northern Lights expedition with one of our experienced aurora hunters.

Join this glacial mission for a day and sail in-between the icebergs of the Glacier Lagoon which leaves no one untouched by its stunning beauty.Your day will start with a drive along the southern coast of Iceland, with views of black sand beaches, glaciers and lava fields along the way. Your first stop will be at the Glacier Lagoon, also called Jökulsárlón, where you will board a small boat to travel across the water. Having the ability to see the lagoon up close and personal truly adds to the experience.You will then have some time to take a walk down to Diamond Beach where you can witness the contrast between the massive chunks of ice and the black sand.Following your time at the lagoon, you will head back along the south coast and make a few additional stops along the way.
